The thing that’s amazing about photographing kids is the expressions they make.  When we grow up we become afraid of making these faces and I don’t know why.  The other thing that’s amazing is that they go through so many expressions so fast.  Pictures of kids always surprise me because I almost never get the expression I was trying to photograph.  But most of the time it’s better.  Because I’m surprised.
